She was 83. Knight passed away Wednesday at her daughter's home in San Marcos, Texas, according to her daughter #KaitlinHopkins. Knight’s career carried her from Kansas to Hollywood and then to the New York theater and London and back to Hollywood. She was nominated for two Tonys, winning one. Bila je kod kuće svoje kćerke Kejtlin Hopkins kad je umrla, potvrdila je gospođa Hopkins. Uzrok smrti nije naveden.

Prvi Emi je osvojila 1988. godine za “Thirtisomething.” Osvojila je još dvije nagrade 1995. godine, za gostujuću ulogu u filmu „NIPD Blue“ i „Indictment: The McMartin Tria“, dokumentarac u HBO produkciji.
